As long as it's at least 2" and 3/4" long and 1" and 3/8" wide is fine for me,
beware of following too closely Combat Wombat's median vehicle dimensions since its vehicles are on the smaller side of nowadays-commonly-accepted 15mm Sci-Fi engine.
Anything which scales midway between a modern 1/87 and a modern 1/76 vehicle should go, that because normally Sci-Fi vehicles are imagined larger than a contemporary equivalent.
Remember the comparison picture between a modern M1A2 and an Universal Century Main Battle Tank from the GUNDAM franchise.
